$220,000 settlement in a nursing home wrongful death case against a skilled nursing home for failing to monitor a resident for signs and symptoms of bowel obstruction. The resident was transferred to a hospital for emergent treatment of a bowel obstruction and died the following day.

Confidential seven figure settlement during the fourth day of trial that is believed to be the largest nursing home negligence settlement in the history of Allen County. The case involved negligent fall prevention measures resulting in internal injuries.
